Harmel's Ranch Resort trophy fishery is known as "Rainbow Heaven". Fed by high
mountain lakes, (Taylor and Spring Creek Reservoirs), Harmel's Gold Medal waters
are at the confluence of Spring Creek, Beaver Creek, and the famous Taylor
River. Just downstream the Taylor meets the East River to form the Gunnison
River and Blue Mesa Reservoir, the largest lake in Colorado.

Liars' Lodge Bed & Breakfast
The Caddis hatch on the Arkansas is world-renowned and a top-water fly man’s
dream. It starts in mid April and ends right here at the lodge in mid May (we
have a third mile of virtually exclusive frontage). There’s even a Caddis
Festival in early May put on by Trout Unlimited. The river is a little high and
wild from mid May thru the 4th of July for fly fishing, but starts settling down
then. By mid August the fishing is exceptional all the way thru mid October.
Again, top-water is king on the Arkansas and the tributaries then. Guided trips
are available thru the lodge all season.

The Old Boettcher Lodge
The Old Boettcher Lodge offers discriminating fly-anglers easy access to some of
Colorado's finest wild trout fishing. Numerous large and colorful browns,
brookies and rainbows inhabit our rivers, streams, mountain lakes and countless
beaver ponds. We are able to keep fishing pressure extremely light. On our
scenic Park Range Ranches, many miles of tumbling freestone streams and beaver
ponds feed the North Fork of the North Platte River (a Gold Medal River) as it
meanders through lush hay meadows and rich grasslands. Here, about 30 private
miles of deep pools and shallow riffles hold trophy-sized brown trout up to 24
inches long.
