Lake Sidney Lanier is well known for its recreational opportunities. The Corps operates 46 park areas around the lake providing, picnicking, campgrounds, boat launching ramps, swimming areas, group picnic shelters and hiking trails. Additional areas have been leased from the Corps and are operated as city and county parks as well as marinas. With over 690 miles of shoreline and over 100 small islands Lake Lanier is the perfect place to pursue your recreational adventure. Whether it is fishing, camping, boating, picnicking, swimming or a variety of other recreation activities, Lake Lanier has it all.

Lake Lanier Marinas
Aqualand Marina
Aqualand is the world's largest inland marina, and the largest marina in the United States. Situated in a lush, natural setting on Lake Sidney Lanier, this serene haven seems worlds away from the hustle and bustle of the city, but it's only 45 minutes from Atlanta. Boaters are pleasantly surprised that the marina is so peaceful and quiet... and offers every amenity. It has over 2250 slips from 26 to 90 ft. Auqualand also offers a public launch ramp, a self-service yard, a store, and sales dock. Lanier Aqua Rentals and Dockside Grill are also located at Aqualand Marina . Bald Ridge Marina
Bald Ridge Marina has been serving Lake Lanier since 1958 when the marina first opened with 32 boat slips. Since then we've grown a little. Bald Ridge Marina now has 600 wet slips, and the marina is as beautiful as ever. Bald Ridge Marina is the southern-most marina on the Lake Lanier. Bald Ridge Marina is a full service marina that provides in-water boat storage, a complete service department, parts department, hull repair, and a fuel dock that has unleaded and diesel fuel. Bald Ridge Marina is also the home of The Sandwich Market, and Bald Ridge Marina has a Marine Max Sea Ray/Meridian Dealership inside the marina specializing in Sea Rays and Meridians. Marine Max also has a service department located in Bald Ridge Marina. They are able to handle all service needs for Bald Ridge Marina as well as Sea Ray and Meridian owners.

Sunrise Cove Marina

This marina has a long rich history, originally built in 1956, the marina was then called Beaver Ruin Park. Two years later it was renamed Snug Harbor. Finally in 1988, this marina became part of the Westrec family of marinas and was renamed once again Sunrise Cove, because of the stunning views and surroundings, especially against the morning sunrise. The Marina rests on 62 sprawling acres of beautiful timberland, and accommodates a wide variety of vessels with its assortment of 749 opened, covered and PWC slips.

Lanier Spots
Ryan Coleman of LanierSpots has been living in Georgia for 39 years and was introduced to fishing at a very young age. He started out with pan fish but quickly transitioned to bass fishing. He has won numerous local tournaments in Georgia in the past 20 years and is currently participating in national as well as local tournaments in his free time. He fishes Lake Lanier approximately 300 days every year for spotted bass. Recently, Ryan won the Bassmaster Southern Tour event on Lake Lanier. This was a huge win for Ryan. He won the tournament dropshotting a Spotsticker hand poured worm.

Old Federal:  Take I-85 north to 985, take exit 4 and turn left onto Hwy. 20, turn right on Peachtree Ind. Blvd, turn left on Jim Crow Rd., and follow signs to the campground.  80 sites, Reservations

Duckett Mill:  Take 400 north to Exit 17, turn right on Hwy 306, turn right on Hwy 53, turn right on Duckett Mill Rd. which ends at the campground.  108 sites, Reservations

Bolding Mill:  Take 400 north to Exit 17, turn right on Hwy. 306 turn right on Hwy. 53, turn left on Sardis Rd, and turn left on Chestatee Rd. which ends at the campground.  Reservations

Bald Ridge:  Take 400 north to exit 16, turn right on Pilgrim Mill Rd., turn right on Sinclair Shoals Rd., turn left on Bald Ridge Rd. which ends at the campground. 79 sites, Reservations

Sawnee:  Take 400 north to exit 14 A, merge right on Hwy. 20 east, turn left on Sanders Rd., at first stop light turn right on Buford Dam Rd. Campground is on the left. 53 sites, Reservations

Toto Creek:  Take 400 north to Hwy. 136, turn right, turn right at stop sign, turn left before crossing the bridge.  Road ends at the park.
