Lake Sinclair provides good fishing opportunities for Channel
Catfish, Bull Catfish, White Catfish, Crappie, Largemouth Bass,
and White Bass. Sinclair is only second to Clarks Hill in the
number of bass tournaments held each year. Catfish are abundant
in Lake Sinclair. Both Bluegill and Redear Sunfish are also

Little River Park
Little River Park is located directly on HWY 441 about 5 miles North of
Milledgeville, GA on the right just past the Waffle House. The park, marina, and
restaurant are all located within walking distance of each other on our 16 acre
beautiful waterfront property on Lake Sinclair. We have 130 RV sites with
accomodations to meet your camping needs. ALL SITES have water, electric, sewer,
and cable TV. ALL SITES have 50/30/20 AMP service. ALL campers receive 10% off
at Choby's Restaurant with your camping receipt.

Al Haslam purchased the
marina in August of 1961 after clearing the land, building the docks, overseeing
construction of the buildings and serving as resident operator for several
years. The lake was young and remote and there were only a few rustic weekend
cabins. Most customers were daytime visitors and put in using the marina ramp or
hoist. They spent their time fishing, skiing and cruising before taking out at
the end of the day

This is a commercial campground, built by Putnam County and the Bureau of
Outdoor Recreation. It is maintained and operated with money provided by people
like you who are interested in the growth of camping as a family activity. Your
camp fee and the money you spend in the camp store will help in the cost of
operation and improvement of the facilities.
